Last Minute Announcements and PARKING
Charlotte Dancesport Challenge is only two days away. Online registration is closed but you will be able to make changes to your registration the day of the competition at the front desk. If you have not sent in your payments please plan to pay at the front desk at regular rate. Also if you registered with a TBA partner please resolve the TBA registrations when you arrive so we can have a smooth running competition. We will have a TBA partner search board at the front desk. You will be able to put your information in to be contacted by interested TBA partners.
Please do your best to arrive 1 hour before your on deck time in order to avoid problems. On Saturday afternoon, we will have altered traffic pattern in place on campus so you will need to park little further and walk to get to Cone Center. Please read below.
PARKING
Parking this year will be little bit confusing on Saturday afternoon due to first ever football game to be played on campus starting at 1pm. The game was scheduled long after we finalized our date for the competition. Visitors will be required to park at the East Deck until 3 or 4 pm on Saturday. After that the campus parking restrictions will be removed and you will be able to park at the Cone Deck. Also unfortunately you will have to pay one time $10 per car to park at East deck on Saturday afternoon. We tried hard to change this but were unsuccessful. You can avoid problems by arriving early and give yourselves ample time to park and walk to the Cone Center. We are planning a great event again this year, with amazing dance shows, great judging panel, and free food on Saturday night. So don't let parking scare you away, we will have a great time.
We all enjoy dancing and watching the fun dances every year. Please get your costumes ready and impress us with your most interesting choreography. This year FUN dances will judged based %75 on interesting choreography and costuming and %25 on the dance technique. That should make things interesting. (This is only for Reverse Role Rumba, 3 Person Cha Cha, and 4 Person Viennese).

Some pages (such as location) takes longer than usual to lead so once you click give it a little time for it to load. We are still tweaking the detailed schedule so it might be slightly different than what is posted.
