Registration will close on April 9th 11:59 pm and reopen on the day of the competition:
The early registration deadline for the Charlotte Dancesport Challenge is April 2nd 11:59pm. Registration will be open until April 9th midnight. Also competitors can register for events during the day of the competition before the competition starts based on availability.
Please remind your dance friends (through Facebook, email, etc..) to sign up ASAP!
Exciting Professional Dance Shows:
Saturday night, dress up and invite your non-dancer, fans of dance friends to come with you to watch our amazing professional shows! This year we were able to secure shows with these amazing dancers for total of 10 dances.. (listed in no particular order)

- Paul Montagnase & Masha Khazanova (Standard/Latin)
- Felipe Gonzalez & Olivia Wesolowski (Latin)
- Gianni Caliandro & Arianna Esposito (Standard)
You won’t want to miss these amazing shows with these amazing dancers!
Fun dances:
Fun dances will include reverse role rumba, three person cha cha and four person Viennese waltz. This year we put these as a part of online registration but couples will be able register for those on site as well. I always love watching the fun dances and I am sure this year all the teams will work extra hard on these (costumes, etc..) to make these dances even more fun to watch.
Scholarships:
We are working hard to get even more scholarships than we handed out last year ($2100). Currently we have collected $2000 towards scholarships and I am sure this will pass last years number so bring your A game. And if you wish to donate towards our scholarships, please contact us!
Judging Panel:
We have an excellent judging board with highly qualified adjudicators. See their bios under “Officials” section of charlottedancesportchallenge.org
